Okay, this can goes on and on and on and on, coz there're too many victims out there that fell into this glib-tongue's trap!

The story went like this :D

Day 1:

One fine day, an innocent guy name Daryl wanted to buy a PSP. He never asked for anything more, but just a freaking PSP that can play downloaded games. So after he consider all the lobangs offered, he and friends headed down to a particular shopping centre called QueensWay Shopping Centre which was known to have quite a number of shops that sell PSP, to look for a good deal. So after browsing through several shops, we were attracted to a trendy looking shop called 'Games Factoryz(wtf what's with the twit)' with a whiteboard that says...

Curious and attracted by the stated price, we went into that shop to find out more. After all the crap, we found it reasonable and decided to buy it. Clueless to the models and firmwares of PSP(2000 with old mumboard, 2000 with new mumboard, 3000 unmodifiedable, M33 is a must to play downloaded games blahblah), we thought as long as it's 2000 means can play already. So after checking for stuck pixels, pasting screen protector, Daryl signed on the receipt and handed over the money.

When we stepped out, I called my brother(expertincomputerstuffs-wannabe) to ask for things that we should take note of when buying PSP. So he said, "Stuck/dead pixels, firmware, model. The firmware's number must have a 'M33' at the back, if not cannot play anything except for buying UMD"

"Eh, the firmware behind got 'M33'?"

"No leh..."

"O_O!"

We immediately rushed back to the shop and ask. You know what that fella said?

"Ah, the 'M33' thing is old, like half a year ago de things. Now new one, no 'M33' also can play games"

"Really ar, okay... if cannot play how?"

"If anything happens, tomorrow you bring back, I'll change for you!" in a very assuring manner.

So we went out with a 'ban xing ban yi' attitude. I was wondering, my brother can't be wrong lor, but nevermind since he so steady, if really cannot then bring back to him to exchange lor. I think by then, we happened to pass by a shop selling PSP, so we went in and ask about the 'M33' thing. 果然, that fella lied to us. In addition, she told us that(not in exact words, but the points are there :X)

"Without the 'M33', the PSP is like useless lol. Only can play UMD games and games in pdp file, and each UMD cost a lot! If you want the one that can modified, can play download games, at the back of the firmware number must have a 'M33'."

She also said that "among the PSP game you can find and download on the internet, 99% of the files are in ISO and CSO format. The 1% is pdp."

Wah, we listen le straight chiong back there for the 3rd time. we asked if that PSP could play ISO and CSO games or not, and we got back the same reply. He still have the cheek to say that the lady we asked earlier wasn't reliable coz they have some conflicts among themselves or whatever shit.

Fine, then we went to CD's house to take games from his computer to Daryl's PSP. Oh, as you expected, CANNOT!

Day 2:

We brought Davindar and Kok Shen along since they know how to talk and how to deal with these kind of situations.

"Yesterday you said that I could play ISO, CSO files on this PSP. Now cannot, so what are you going to do?"

"Ya, I said that you can play, BUT ONLY LIMITED GAMES"

"You didn't tell us that yesterday?"

"You never ask properly what!"

WTF! We remembered we asked him like, alot of times lor! Cheebye. YA CB, that 2 days was the most number of 'CB' I scolded in my whole 17 years... can you imagine how pissed off I am?!

After negotiating for a long time, he still refuse to give us what we want. Before we went off, Daryl said something like "if blahblahblahiforgot, sorry but I have to make it big"

YOU KNOW WHAT HE REPLY!?

"Go ahead!"

Davindar suggested that we should inform the cops, so we did.

Anyway the police station is just beside the QueensWay SC. Unfortunatly, they said that they can't do anything about it and instead, they advised(ced?) us to make a report to the Consumer Association of Singapore (CASE). We wanted to, but we can't! Coz we signed the black and white, and we're buying something pirated. We're at the losing end if we did that! Anyway, we were also told that we're not the only one, many have came and make a report about that shop hence blacklisted. But wtf la, why not they seal the shop to prevent further victims already? Stupid

Whatever, we left with 2 choices. 1, trade-in PSP for 200SGD. 2, top-up 180 for a fucking blue old PSP that can only play old games.

*fast-forward coz I'm lazy to type :D*

Called Joseph's father for help > he helped us to push the 180 to 100 and from the fugly blue to a slim modified PSP > Daryl topped up the 100 > get a pathetic white PSP with 2 DEAD PIXELS and suspected to be a 2nd-hand PSP because of scratches at the back

Ah, poor Daryl. All he wanted was a playable PSP, LOL >.>

Okay, my laziness hit the brim, so I'll stop here. They story kind of ends here anyway :S

Nicely furnished shop from the outside. I guess that's what made them seem reliable!

An article we saw at a shop in SimLim. Wah, didn't know that the shop is so infamous around!
